Total
elation after the last pk was taken to break the 2-2
tie. We won them 5-4 and are on to the finals against North Carolina
Saturday morning. Win or lose - this team did Texas, South Texas and the
Rangers proud. Won the first against Mississippi 4-0, lost the second
3-1, beat Arkansas this morning 2-0 and got the wild card spot in the semis.
That was against Alabama.
Here is a clip of the last kick taken and the rushing on the
field. Thought you all might enjoy it:

Immediate opportunities for 00/U14 Girls, 02/U12 Boys and 01/U13 Boys.
U11+ players: Even though our (very successful!) tryouts are over, there still may be an opportunity to play with the Rangers. Please contact us at admin.rcrsc@gmail.com if you are looking for a team. U9 and U10 players: Rangers and NASA offer Academy (also called Rec+). This is recreational soccer (win/loss stats are not recorded) with professional Rangers coaching twice a week and games on weekends against other select soccer clubs. The 96 boys went undefeated in the President's Cup
Tournament, obtaining 28 points out of a maximum of 30. They posted the
following wins [5-2 over Sugar Land Leones, 4-0 over TSC Texans, 3-2 over
Lonestar Red South]. The boys played selflessly, as always, with 9
different players scoring goals out of the 12 scored.
Next up, the boys head to Decatur, Alabama June 6-9 to go
head to head with 11 other state champs in the Region III tournament, to try to
get to the National Finals in Florida. Click on picture below to better see their awesomeness!
Being awesome is expensive. Please support these easy fundraisers to defer the costs of the teams' trip to Alabama! |

Club members are now expected to drop
off and pick up kids, and to park their vehicles, in
either of two parking areas designated for Rangers use.
If you plan to drive players to or from St. Louis, please
become familiar with the new parking arrangement now. An
explanation with a detailed map is
available here.
Also, do not drive through alley in North Village Shopping Center. Please read this letter from Ranger's President Bill Collins. <click here> |
